The Certified Gaming Compliance Specialist (CGCS) Curriculum
Built around seven interconnected domains, the Certified Gaming Compliance Specialist (CGCS) delivers a comprehensive, end-to-end framework for casino and iGaming compliance.
The program is structured to reflect how risk actually emerges in modern gaming environments - moving from foundational principles and regulatory expectations through financial crime, game integrity, and operational threats, and into investigations, digital risk, and program assurance. Each part builds on the last, creating a cohesive learning journey that connects theory to real-world application.
This integrated structure ensures that learners do not view AML, fraud, cyber risk, responsible gaming, and investigations as separate disciplines, but as interconnected components of a single risk system - equipping professionals to identify, assess, and manage risk across the full gaming ecosystem.
This approach is grounded in real-world practice, ensuring that learners develop not only technical knowledge, but the judgment and decision-making skills required in high-pressure, high-scrutiny environments. By emphasizing documentation, escalation, evidence, and regulatory expectations, the CGCS prepares professionals to design and operate compliance programs that are effective in practice and defensible under regulatory, audit, and legal review.
